What will you learn:

For ages 16 and up, our curriculum covers a wide range of techniques. The Level 1 course starts from the ground up with how you should step, balance, and proper etiquette. Drills in this course are focused around the Longsword. Students will also be introduced to simple grappling techniques, and will be introduced to the variety of tools and equipment used in HEMA.

The Level 2 course builds upon the skills taught in Level 1 while introducing students to more Longsword and Half-Sword techniques. These techniques are drawn from such sources as the Wurttemberg, Gladiatoria, Ringeck, Fior di Battaglia, Codex Wallerstein, and others. In these classes students are also permitted to train with blunt/rebated steel swords. Before the end of each class time is allocated for Free-Play; time for students to train freely with a partner or in a group in various levels of armoured protection. Veteran students also attend these classes and help with instruction of students and development of techniques for the curriculum.
